Welcome!
My name is Hannah Slater and I am the photographer behind the camera at Star Sparkling Photography! I have a beautiful family that is full of life and adventures! My love for photography came when I was a teenage, but didn't really get into the art until I became a mother! My husband got me my first camera when our oldest girls were born! And I've never looked back since! I have 5 beautiful, caring, athletic children! They keep me on my toes and I couldn't be happier with my simple, but sometimes chaotic life! But I wouldn't trade it for the world!
I am a natural light photographer who enjoys every second being outside and letting the natural sense of my photoshoots take place! I love personalized candid shots along with the creativity of posed portraits!
I do not have a favorite type of session! I love family sessions because that's the foundation of life! I enjoy so much getting to know my families who entrust my talent in photography and them continuing to come back each time, brings so much joy to me, there is no greater compliment as a photographer! I have also done many maternity, newborn, and fresh 48 sessions! One of my goals would like to dive a little deeper into Lifestyle sessions. I have done a few, but would love to build my portfolio capturing the intimate moments of your family at your safe place, your home!
Once we connect, and we build that trust, it seems like time flashes before our eyes, and it's time for Senior sessions! I cannot believe the number of families that have grown with me since I started photography, and their once little ones have become beautiful teenagers ready for graduation! Thats another super special milestone I take pride in! I love when I get to see the growth of a child become who they want to be and capture their most exciting moment of highschool.....their senior portraits!
I also continued to grow along the way by accepting engagement sessions and weddings! I love LOVE! I love getting to know the couple who wants to be eachother's forever! If you have booked with me, you know I usually cry at weddings because it's such a beautiful vow between two people!
I have recently dipped my toes in the Sports photography for the last year or two, and I really have grown to LOVE it!!! I love taking the action shots of all sports but also getting to know the kids for their team pictures! All their personalities together as a team makes me laugh because I have had so many funny conversations with the kids and their families! It's so enjoyable just being a part of it!
